A man who tried to buy a gun at a Murfreesboro store found out how quickly the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation works to notify local authorities. 22-year old Mason DeForrest was wanted for "Felony Evading," when he allegedly attempted to buy a gun and when his information was entered into a state wide database, the TBI was notified.

The TBI then contacted Murfreesboro Police who headed to the store in question. Police arrived and spoke to DeForrest and quickly placed him in handcuffs. He was transported to the local jail where he was booked under a $4,500 bond and later released after posting bond.
