A Johnson City man who is Walking Across Tennessee raising money for St. Jude's Children's Hospital is schedule to arrive in Murfreesboro Wednesday.

Eric Latham, a co-founder of a brewing company in Johnson City, began his walk August 26th. He recently spoke to a group about why he's walking the state...

Latham will walk from Woodbury to Murfreesboro, a 19-mile trek, on Wednesday. Thursday, he'll walk the 12 miles from Murfreesboro to Smyrna. Friday will take him from Smyrna to Nashville.

The walk is to help raise awareness of St. Jude, which is a leading children's hospital pioneering research and treatments for kids with cancer and other life-threatening disease. Latham says the walk is also a good opportunity to meet people sharing stories. People are encouraged to meet him while he's in town.

You can find out more at his website, walkacrosstennessee.org.
