A 21-year old man wanted in Georgia on the theft of a motor vehicle charge was arrested in Murfreesboro.

Police went to Motel 6 on Chaffin Place in response to a noise complaint. Once on the scene, they met with Belve Joseph Norman in room 207. A routine warrants check revealed the Georgia warrant.

Norman is now being held in the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center where he is waiting for Georgia officials to pick him up. The man was also charged with being a fugitive from justice.
