What was labeled as an "Unintentional Drug Overdose" in Murfreesboro has led to warrants being filed for the alleged sale or distribution of narcotics.

The incident unfolded when police received an overdose call on Journey Drive. Once at the address, paramedics were found to be working on a man who reportedly overdosed on heroin. Officers then gained permission from the subject's sister to search the inside of the residence.

Several syringes, scales, pipes with drug residue on them along with multiple plastic baggies were located. Police also found a small bag of Epson salt, which officers say, "Showed intent to sell a counterfeit substance."

The report went on to state that once the man who overdosed is released from the hospital, he will be arrested based on the evidence collected by police.

Active warrants were taken out on the 33 year old suspect. The mans condition has not been released.
