Talk about an odd outfit… A man who was wearing what was described as a mask covering his face and holding a MTSU umbrella to further hide his identity was seen inside the SunTrust Bank on Greenland Drive several days ago. The man was at the deposit table that is used by customers before approaching the bank teller. Since the incident occured, the subject has yet to be questioned and it is not known if he was about to rob the bank or just scoping the place out while wearing his robbery outfit.

The police report filed on May 17th states, “The suspect left out (of the) front doors, turned to his left and was last seen going toward Nottingham Apartments.” After the bizarre visitor left, the bank was placed on lockdown as a precaution and the police were called. The bank also contacted the FBI. To date, no one has been arrested or questioned. It is also important to point out that since the incident was reported, no bank in Rutherford County has been robbed.
