A 24-year old Edgewater Falls man was arrested for DUI after an accident on Memorial Boulevard.

Murfreesboro Police Officer Derrick DeLeon reports finding Kyle Andrew Buttrey had slurred speech and smelled of alcohol while investigating a crash Friday night just before 10 o'clock in front of Baskin Robbins.

The officer reports Buttrey told him he'd been at Whiskey Dix and consumed four or five beers. After failing a field sobriety test, he was arrested.

It's the second time Buttrey has faced DUI charges. The first was in 2013 in Florida. He will answer to charges in General Sessions Court on September 5th.
