Three men parked behind a vacant house on Elrod Street were questioned by Murfreesboro Police on Sunday night. After officers made contact with the men in the SUV, a hypodermic needle was observed beside the back seat passenger identified as Dylan A. Pister of Woodbury.

The 20-year old was asked to exit the vehicle and as he got out, two small bags of what was later confirmed to be methamphetamines fell out of the SUV. The responding officer then asked Pister if he had anything else with him, to which he replied, "no." When police searched the subject, they learned that he was being less than truthful as they found a hypodermic needle with residue on it located in his waist band.

Pister was charged for the meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrested with Pister was 32 year old Brandon Burleson of Florida. Police say when Burleson exited the SUV, a glass pipe fell out of his lap. Burleson was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation.

The third subject in the SUV was not arrested.
