METH in COFFEE COUNTY
October 13, 2009
Coffee County Sheriffs Deputies have arrested two Manchester men after they were found to be in possession of what the Deputies are calling a meth lab and methamphetamine itself. David Gordon Jenkins, 42, and Adam Wayne Cable, 27 were arrested Sunday after authorities learned that the two had purchased a large amount of products used to produce methamphetamine. Authorities were made aware of the purchases by a list of purchases of products containing Pseudoephedrine, maintained by area pharmacies.
In Tennessee, when you purchase products containing Pseudoephedrine, you are required to show a picture ID and provide your signature on a log book.
Jenkins and Cable were charged with initiation of the process to result in the production of methamphetamines. Bond was set at $50,000 each, and both are set to appear in Coffee County General Sessions Court November 2nd. -WJLE News
