The Business Education Partnership Foundation will host the inaugural BEP Mini Masters Indoor Mini Golf Tournament from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 3rd at the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce.

According to BEP Executive Director Amelia Bozeman, the BEP Mini Masters event will provide a tongue-in-cheek take on the actual Masters Tournament with not-so-subtle Caddyshack overtones. "BEP is excited to announce that our advisory board has developed a new event concept that will be a blast for sponsors and players alike. We are especially thankful to our presenting sponsors, the Bridgestone Americas Trust Fund, for their support," she said.

Sean Kelley, plant manager at Bridgestone's La Vergne facility, said, "We are proud to partner with the BEP and be a sponsor of the Mini Masters tournament. I have always been passionate about education, and Bridgestone's culture supports that passion. Education is one of the three major focus points of the Bridgestone Americas Trust Fund. We look forward to being a part of this event which will support the BEP programs in Rutherford County. Bridgestone doesn't just build tires, we build relationships," he said.

BEP advisory board member and Mini Masters event chair Tara Stone is an enthusiastic supporter of the organization. "I support BEP's initiatives to help prepare students for the future. Our children have personally benefited from the BEP Nissan Teacher Minigrant Awards their teachers have won, and we have seen firsthand the value of showing students real-world examples of their classroom lessons," she said.

In addition to 18 holes of putt-putt fun on three floors of the Chamber building, the BEP Mini Masters will feature Masters-themed food on a "mini" scale and suds from beverage sponsor Mayday Brewery. A limited number of team registrations and hole sponsorships are available. Hole sponsors are invited to build and decorate their golf holes to promote their businesses.

Proceeds from the Mini Masters will benefit BEP's programs that support students, teachers, and counselors in the Murfreesboro City and Rutherford County School Systems.
