Mississippi Man Arrested Locally for Prescription Drugs

A Biloxi, Mississippi, man is facing many charges after several prescription pills were allegedly found in his car in Murfreesboro. Thirty-one-year old Matthew Felscher was pulled over Saturday just before noon on East Vine at South Maney since he and the vehicle he was driving matched that of a burglary suspect bolo.

Murfreesboro Police Officer Cody Nolin reports he asked Felscher to search the car. He said he was uncomfortable doing so since it belonged to someone else. However, that person gave him conscent to search.

That's when police found multiple prescription drugs in the vehicle. Sublingual, Oxymorphone Hydrocloride, Oxymorphone and Triazolam. Felscher was then arrested. Then, when taken out of the patrol car to be booked, Meloxicam, Ayclovir and Atrovastatin Calcium were found in the seat.

Felscher faces three counts of possession of legend drugs without a prescription, two counts of possession of schedule two drugs, and a count each of possession of schedule three and schedule four drugs. He'll answer to the charges in General Sessions Court on February 18th. Bond was set at 35-thousand dollars.
