Will "Tiny Homes for Vets" help those living in the Heart of Tennessee? That's one of the topics at this Monday (4/23/2018) evening's RECYCLE RUTHERFORD Annual Meeting at the Heritage Center, 225 West College Street. It begins at 7:00PM.

Rutherford County Property Assessor Rob Mitchell and Technology Consultant Frank Caperton will talk about "Tiny Homes for Vets".

Capterton notes, "These tiny homes would not be free, but would follow the Habitat for Humanity model with the investment of sweat equity and some financing."

He continued, "Tiny homes cost less, because they require less land on which to build, less materials for construction, less furnishings, less energy to function, and less maintenance and cleaning. They generate less waste than traditional homes."

Recycle Rutherford's Glenn Himebaugh told NewsRadio WGNS, "The main order of business will be the election of officers and board members to serve 2018-2020."

Again, Recycle Rutherford's Annual Meeting begins at 7:00 o'clock this coming Monday evening at the Heritage Center, 225 West College Street. Parking is available around the building as well as across the street at Pinnacle Bank.
