As the result of continued investigative efforts, Special Agents for the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have obtained an additional indictment for a former Wilson County man already facing charges in connection to a multi-million dollar investment scheme.

At the request of 15th District Attorney General Tommy Thompson, TBI Special Agents began investigating Brad Moss on November 13, 2013. During the course of the investigation, Agents developed information that, from 2010 to 2014, Moss operated a scheme in which he sought investors for a planned carwash. To date, no progress has been made toward building the carwash, and investigators further developed information that, since 2011, Moss used money obtained by investors to repay other investors. Last year, a Wilson County Grand Jury indicted Moss on nine counts of Forgery in connection to the same investment scheme.

On Monday, the Wilson County Grand Jury returned an additional indictment for Moss, charging the 44-year-old Murfreesboro man with one count of Theft over $250,000. This evening, a TBI Agent arrested Moss and booked him into the Wilson County Jail, after which he was released on his own recognizance.
