More Foster parents are needed in Rutherford County. However, the job is not taken lightly and there are lots of things that take place once the child is placed with a family.

The good news is that the Department of Children Services work with not only the child placed in the foster care program, but also with the birth parent or parents along with the foster family every step of the way.
