Mother thinks back on the death of her 15 year old to help others

Sarah Hedden lost her 15 year old son almost three years ago to a tragedy that she will never forget. Her son was accidentally shot on July 7, 2014 in Franklin, Tennessee.

Now, she wants to turn her pain into a mission to help other grieving parents in Middle Tennessee. One of her goals is to hold a candlelight vigil to bring hurting families together this October while also remembering her son Christopher Aaron Hedden.

Mr. Christopher Aaron Hedden, age 15 of Franklin, TN, July 7, 2014. Attended Franklin High School and was a member of the Franklin High School Marching Band and the JROTC. Member of the Boy Scout Troop #137. He was a ham radio operator and member of WCARES. Outfielder for the Franklin Baseball Club 2014 Champions.

Survived by: parents, Gary and Lynne Hedden of Franklin, TN; biological mother, Sarah (Nick) Hollister of Hermitage, TN; sister, Clara Hedden-Roche of Hermitage, TN; uncle, Aaron (Sarah) Hedden of Franklin, TN; cousin, Adeline Hedden of Franklin, TN and other loving family members.
