Alcohol may have led to an accident that resulted in a serious injury at a home at 3302 Dibrell Court in Murfreesboro. Emergency personnel went to the home to help a female who was in some type of distress. When paramedics got there, blood was seen on the floor and on the stairs. Police were called and they reported that bloody towels were found throughout the house. Officers also found “numerous” empty liquor bottles in the bedroom of the home.

The 55-year old female who was unconscious and badly injured, was said to have fallen down a flight of stairs in the house, according to police on Wednesday. Two men were in the house when police arrived. All three subjects were believed to have been drinking, according to the incident report. Police took photographs of the interior of the home to document the scene.

Robin Clownover suffered from both spinal and brain injuries in the incident that detectives are investigating. The woman was flown by Life Flight helicopter to Vanderbilt Medical Center. No arrests have been made and the case.
