The Middle Tennessee Association of REALTORS® recently held their annual Installation and Awards Ceremony in the ballroom of the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro. 2016 MTAR President Dale Patterson presented the 2016 REALTOR® of the Year award to Richard Lewis of Exit Realty Bob Lamb & Associates of Murfreesboro. Lewis served as the President of MTAR in 2014 and served on the Board of Directors for several years. He is also on the Past President's Council of the Blue Raider Athletic Association having served as president in 2010-2011. The REALTOR® of the Year Award is designed to recognize those members of MTAR that have excelled as a professional, led by example and exemplify the commitments required of a REALTOR® for the year.
Chosen as the 2016 Rookie of the Year was Christopher Wilson, also of Exit Realty Bob Lamb & Associates. This award is designed to recognize new members of MTAR. The Rookie of the Year award focusses on commitment, professionalism and community service from our newest members.
The REALTOR® of the Year and the Rookie of the Year are chosen from among over 1700 REALTOR® members in MTAR's 8-county area. These awards are based on nominations from their peers and points calculations for their service. MTAR serves Bedford, Cannon, Coffee, Franklin, Grundy, Marion, Moore and Rutherford Counties.
