Despite rain, MTSU's game opener was impressive 61 to 7 victory over Savanah State. And the season began with a home game with Blue Raider President Sidney McPhee taking the ALS ice bucket challenge in the middle of the field. Everyone but Dr. McPhee had an umbrella to protect them from the rain.
