MTSU Police Add Sexual Assault Services Position

The MTSU Police Department is increasing efforts to reduce and prevent sexual assaults on campus. NewsChannel 5 reports the university is the first in the state to create a new position specifically designated to handle sexual assault cases.

Police Chief Buddy Peaster tells NewsChannel 5 they're always looking for new ways to provide resources to the campus community...

The person hired to this new position will also work with the county's Domestic Violence Program and Sexual Assault Services in the area of prevention and education to the cmapus community.
