MTSU Student Arrested by MPD for Sealed Indictment from Nashville

An MTSU student has been indicted by a Davidson County Grand Jury on several charges, including rape.

Clinton Knox the Third was arrested by Murfreesboro Police at his Wenlon Drive apartment Monday just before 3pm.

According to the report, officers were acting on an anonymous top that Knox was at the apartment near the MTSU campus. He was arrested without incident.

Knox, who is a leader in the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity was also a student ambassador at the local university. He's facing one count of aggravated rape, one count of rape, one count of aggravated robbery and two counts of impersonating a police officer in connection to alleged events that took place April 22nd and 23rd in Nashville.

Knox is being held without bond in the Davidson County Jail.
