A local MTSU student tells WGNS that she was prematurely kicked out of her apartment because of a domestic violence situation with her roommate. Briana Vito says that she was evicted before she even went to court and is now living in a motel with her young son.

Vito told us what she was told by an employee of University Gables Apartment Complex in Murfreesboro…

Vito told us that she was arrested as a result of the fight she allegedly had with her roommate. The female further stated that she was bitten during the reported fight (as seen in the picture). Vito told us her roommate was not kicked out of the apartment, only her.

WGNS stated to Vito that in 2011, a student killed her roommate at Raiders Ridge Apartments and that murder stemmed from a fight between roommates.

The murder in 2011 occurred after an argument over one roommate smoking marijuana and the other disagreeing with the use of illegal drugs in their apartment.

For now, Vito continues to live in a motel while raising her son and attending MTSU. She told us that she has obtained a lawyer and is fighting to get her money back for the apartment she says she prepaid for through the month of March of next year.
