MURDER in Wilson County - Case to See Courtroom

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation along with the Wilson County’s Sheriff’s Office have arrested three men for the shooting death of a Wilson County man after they were indicted by a Wilson County Grand Jury.

The three suspects have been charged with Felony First Degree Murder and Especially Aggravated Robbery. Derrick Blair, age 20, of Watertown, TN, Tommy Adams, age 24, also of Watertown, TN and Chris Estes, age 24, of Auburntown, TN have all been booked into the Wilson County Jail.

The victim, 38-year-old Darrell Sloan, of Washington Drive in Lebanon, TN, was found shot to death on October 4th of 2009 at a friend’s residence located on Knight Road in Watertown. The suspects and victim were acquaintances and had attended a party at the residence prior to the murder.

    Tommy Adams ismy cousin and i could never see him doing something like this! but if in deed he did he needs to go rot in prison!!!!!

    Such language ! Is this an example of the kind of family that Tommy has? Maybe he did do it… It will be up to a judge and jury to decide.

    you cant say that that is the type of family tommy has you dont know us! all we know is that Tommy is a Great person and we have his back 100% And we dont belive that he did this! That is the fact that my sister was trying to state and this whole ordeal has my whole family upset!

    Jackie,
    If your Tommy is innocent, the court will exonerate him. But, to use such vulgar and obscene language in these posts does not show either him, or the family he came from in a good light.

    I see that the “Webmaster” has deleted Yvonne’s vulgar comment anyway which makes my comment look rather hollow.

    look OLD BIll i didnt say what u said to yvonne wasnt true i was just saying that all of our family isnt like her we dont all talk like that! And weather the court says that Tommy is innocent or not i belive what i belive and i belive that he is innocent Tommy isn’t the violent type nor has he ever been! I was raise with him i lived with Tommy my whole life but these past 3yrs. I am sorry if u think that i am being rude or immature but i am sticking to my belifes! So i am sorry that you dont think of me in a good light and to be honest i dont care what anybody thinks of myself or my family!

    well this is one of tommy’s Good friends, And i do not see him Doing something like that. He would give his right arm for anyone that needed it. I just beleave that he was hanging with the wrong people and some where at the wrong time. I pray for him every night. I hope they find him innocent. And Jackie and Old bill dont u think u need to be thinking of tommy and not how his family is right now. We need to be figuring out what happen and how we can support him and get him through this tuff time. He is a great man and i only wish the best for him.

    Well I would like to thank all of you for the kind words. I feel that my brother would not ever do anything like this. He was around the wrong group of people at the wrong time. Tommy is a very good person and I belive he was set up. Again this is not something that he would ever do.
    Please like our mother’s have always told us if you have nothing nice to say lets not say anything at all.

    Ok like i siad i was sticking up for my familiy and tommy is my cuzzin! So ummmmmmm hum guess that means Tommy too. I know he didnt do it and they need to do there damn job there and find out who did it and if they do say that he did it then he was set up! Everyone who knows Tommy could tell you that He isnt that type of person! and he would give his right arm to help someone. matter of fact i remimber one night we were walking to the laundry mat and he seen this old man sitten out in the snow and he gave that man his coat! SO anyways Tommy I love You and i got your back 100%

    I am a freind of Crow’s the victim who’s voice will never be heard and I would like to say to all those who’s families are involved.On that dreadful night many lives were changed because of one bad decision.My heart goes out to all of you ON BOTH SIDES and my prayer’s are with you all.We need to stop and think of all sides not just the one’s that effect you personally.Although a mother and father lost a child to the grave there’s other families who lost thier kids to the system.ONE BAD DECISION! I’t’s going to hurt and change us forever. although our court system isnt perfect we must allow the system to work no matter the outcome.So please show respect for all sides and don’t make this case your personal pedistal. All involved directly or indirectly need your compassion,love,respect.forgiveness. Only then will we find reason. So blessing to you all and I hope this message will give you a direction to find comfort. Lay it in the hands of God and it will.

    I grew up with two of the guys that were part of this and actually it was my best friends uncle so I believe they should get the maximum penalty of all never take a life cause u had two many beers its ashame maybe some people should look at the justice system before committing a crime

    From what I have read in these posts, It would seem that Tommy comes from a family of illiterate “trailer trash” who should consider themselves geniuses if they can spell “you” (much less their own names). It is up to the court to determine the guilt or innocence of these “people”. All the whining about “cuzzins and bes frens” won’t mean a plate of beans in the court.

    Who cares about the degradation of our language and culture? Who cares? I sure as heck do! People who champion such careless misuse of our language probably won’t care when we all have to learn Spanish, Chinese, or Arabic. Our country is going down the drain quickly enough.     wow…Old Bill… I just believe that we should cut people a little bit of slack at times..and you know, as well as I do that when people are on the computer they tend to abbreviate words yet still get their point across.
