Murfreesboro Aviation has again been recognized for its high standard of accomplishment in flight training by The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), the world's largest aviation association. The flight school has been awarded a spot on the Flight Training Excellence Awards Honor Roll, a title given to high scoring flight schools from AOPA's annual flight training poll.

AOPA's Flight Training Excellence Awards were created to highlight the best flight training the industry has to offer. "This year's winners are great examples of high quality and effective flight training. The recognition is well deserved," said Chris Moser, AOPA's senior manager of flight training initiatives. "The Flight Training Excellence Awards were created to recognize best practices in flight training--excellent customer service, quality education, community development, and sharing knowledge. We are excited to spotlight their excellent work."

Jim Gardner, owner of Murfreesboro Aviation said "We hire the best instructors and indoctrinate them into a strict protocol emphasizing excellence and safety. Continued recognition from the industries top organizations, like AOPA, tells me that our program continues to be a success."

According to Gardner, "Many of our graduates first flew with us because a parent, spouse, or friend bought them an inexpensive Discovery Flight as a gift. While it's true that we train many local business leaders and professionals who utilize their aircraft for business, it's just as common for someone to walk in and become a pilot simply for the love of flight. This recognition from AOPA should be further assurance to our students that our program produces that best pilots in the industry"
