Murfreesboro City Offices closed July 4 for Independence Day holiday

In observance of Independence Day, all City of Murfreesboro offices, recreational facilities, and St. Clair Street Senior Center, will be closed on Friday, July 4th. St. Clair will also be closed Saturday, July 5.

Rover, the City’s public transportation service, will not run.

Sports*Com Boro Beach Outdoor Pool will host “Rock the Pool” from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. “Celebration under the Stars” will be held at McKnight Park beginning at 5:00 p.m. with fireworks starting at 9:00 p.m.


Old Fort, Bloomfield Links, and VA Golf Courses will be open.

There will be no garbage pick-up on Friday, July 4, 2014. Thursday’s garbage pick-up will be Wednesday, July 2, 2014. Friday’s garbage pick-up will be Thursday, July 3, 2014.
