For the sixth straight year, MTSU and Murfreesboro City Schools are partnering to have buses transport thousands of first- through eighth-graders from 12 schools for a basketball game field trip experience. In addition to the game, MTSU Athletics Marketing has many special activities planned for the students.

A combined 7,500 Murfreesboro City Schools' students, teachers and staff will be at the Tuesday game. MTSU calls the event, "Education Day" basketball game.

The game will feature the Lady Raiders hosting Coppin State.

Teachers have used math-based lesson plans related to sports to get their students excited about attending the game... Student captains, champion girls' and boys' teams and award-winning cheerleading team will be featured.
