A Minerva Drive man was arrested on manufacturing marijuana charges this week after police received an anonymous drug complaint. After receiving the complaint police observed the home in question for about fifteen minutes. After conducting surveillance on the home located at 607 Minerva Drive, police moved in to speak with the resident.

When Officer Gibbs spoke to 22-year old Matthew Gore, he wrote in a report, “As I was speaking with Mr. Gore I could smell marijuana coming from the back yard area.” Gore gave Officer Gibbs permission to enter his home where a small bag of Mary Jane was reportedly found. The officer then journeyed back outside and made his way to the garden. Sandwiched between tomato plants Officer Gibbs followed his nose to a 3-foot tall marijuana plant.
