Murfreesboro Police make marijuana arrest

51 Grams of marijuana and $571 in cash were seized during a Murfreesboro traffic stop. Vice Officers with the Murfreesboro Police Department were then called to the scene of the stop to further investigate, according to the report filed by a Patrol Officer on Tuesday.

The vehicle that Jernella M. Liles was driving was towed away from the scene of the stop on Lascassas Pike and the 23-year old was charged with "Felony Possession of a Schedule Six" drug. The Murfreesboro man will appear in court on January 22, 2015.

Liles was released from jail on bond Wednesday morning.
