Murfreesboro Police Working with the FBI in what was described as a Muslim Targeted Road Rage Incident

Murfreesboro Police are working with the FBI in regards to what has been described as a road rage / hate crime by some. The incident in question unfolded this past May involving a woman wearing a Muslim head covering while driving down Broad Street.

28 Year old Sarah Alzubi told WGNS an unknown man in a truck followed her from State Route 840 to Broad Street. When she pulled into the median in front of her husband's shop, the man jumped out of his truck and allegedly cursed her while banging on her windows. Prior to her stopping, she told WGNS the man spit at her car, chased her and even called her a terrorist.

Murfreesboro Police Sgt. Kyle Evans confirmed on Thursday (6/2/16) that an arrest has not been made, but police are working with the FBI on the case.
