Kids Get Healthy With Team ASK

August 5, 2009

middle half pictures 025 Special Kids is gearing up to get in shape with the kids in our community. Special Kids recently received funds through General Mills to help support their Team ASK kid’s team.

Two local races, The Fenton Payne and Fred 5K, Saturday August 15 and The Murfreesboro Middle Half Marathon, Saturday October 3 are both hosting a One Mile Kids Fun Run. Children can participate in these runs with Team ASK (Athletes for Special Kids) and run in honor of children with special needs.

Children all over the country need a good reason to get out on their feet. What better reason, than to do it for a child? Special Kids is looking for families interested in making a difference for families receiving services at Special Kids. Team ASK members will receive a team tee shirt, a training schedule, fundraising information and a child partner from Special Kids. To sign up your child for the Team ASK Kids team contact Sharon Jones at sjones@specialkidstn.com or 615-893-4892.
