Currently, no suspects have been named in one of the most recent robbery cases in Murfreesboro. The 25-year old victim said that she received a taxi ride to her chosen destination of Reid Alley. When she got out of the cab she told police an unknown man assaulted her and stole $60 from her. She said the man then took off running towards East State Street.

The responding officer wrote in an incident report, “I was able to observe her face to be swollen and bleeding from the nose and mouth.” The case was turned over to detectives and no arrests have been made. The case is labeled as a “strong armed robbery.”
