Sunshine and temps around 40 made a successful Martin Luther King, Jr. Day march.
Coordinator Shawn Brown has been organizing the Murfreesboro event since its inception 16-years ago.
When asked what does the march mean to this community, he responded . . .
(Time: 15-seconds)
Brown said, "The first year we came out here with a hundred people, and now we're up to 500. And that's just the people who register. Many show-up at march time and don't register."
Once again, Shawn Brown and the hundreds of participants are keeping Dr. King's "dream" alive in Murfreesboro.
