N. Rutherford Blvd. Shooting

An investigation is underway after a shots fired call at Campus Crossings Apartments on North Rutherford Boulevard. Murfreesboro Police were called to the scene around 9 this (Monday) morning. An alert was sent out by nearby MTSU officials to students, staff and faculty. According to Murfreesboro Police, no one at the apartments were hit by fire. An investigation into the incident is underway.

Murfreesboro police received reports of shots fired at an off-campus apartment complex, Campus Crossings, at about 9 a.m. today. Suspects fled the scene and Murfreesboro police are continuing to investigate. Please be aware of your surroundings and take appropriate precautions. Report any suspicious activities to campus police at 615-898-2424.
