The Murfreesboro NAACP Branch and the Murfreesboro-Rutherford Youth Council are sponsoring their annual Freedom Fund Banquet, Friday, August 24, 2018 at 7:00 PM in the James Union Building, MTSU campus. Tickets are $50 per adult and $25 for 22 years and under. A table of 8 is $380.00.

The keynote speaker is Ms. Lecia Brooks, Outreach Director of the Southern Poverty Law Center, Montgomery, Alabama.

This year, the Branch and the Youth Council will honor Outstanding Men and Women of the community and an Outstanding Youth, entering their first year of college, for extraordinary service in their communities. NAACP will also recognize an organization and/or a corporation and the NAACP member, who has solicited the largest amount of memberships during this year's Membership Campaign.
