Nashville Man Charged with Forgery; Runs from Police

Murfreesboro Police nabbed a Nashville man after he fled the Wal-Mart on Old Fort Parkway, reportedly after attempting to pass off a fake 100-dollar bill as the real thing. Loss prevention officers at the store called police Friday afternoon, just before 2. The suspect, Terry Edward Nowell, age 26 of Nashville, reportedly fled the store just as police arrived. A pursuit led them to Marti and Liz Shoes several blocks away. Nowell not only faces criminal simulation charges, but also evading arrest and resisting arrest. He'll be in General Session Court on January 27th. Nowell was arrested and taken to the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center with a bond of 67-hundred, 50 dollars.
