A large reverse prostitution sting by Metro Nashville Police last week yields Rutherford County ties. You may recall last week, 12 people were charged in the sting at a Goodlettsville apartment. Detectives responded to advertisements posted on an Internet site and made arrangements to meet the women. Drugs were also found in the apartment.
Of those dozen arrested, 25-year old Alicia Gonzales of Murfreesboro and 23-year old Stevi Williams of La Vergne were charged with prostitution. James Tapp, a 23-year old from Smyrna, was also arrested for promoting prostitution. All three face drug charges as well, as cocaine and marijuana was found in the apartment.
