A La Vergne man was arrested by Murfreesboro Police, which netted nearly a pound of marijuana. Murfreesboro Police Officer Christopher Hobbs reports Saturday night around 9:20, he arrived at The Grove on Journey Drive.

According to the report, he approached 21-year old Kahlen Fuller of La Vergne. That's when the suspect reportedly ran to the passenger side of a white Chevrolet Camaro. Hobbs, who reported he could smell marijuana, pursued the suspect. Once stopped and the car searched, 15-point-seven ounces of marijuana were found inside a bag.

Fuller was arrested and charged with felony possession of a schedule four drug and bond was set at 10-thousand, 500 dollars.
