The United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties is planning to launch CharityTracker, a shared case management software, for local agencies in Rutherford and Cannon counties. The United Way will be hosting CharityTracker information sessions in the month of August for leaders in the nonprofit, faith-based, foundation, civic, academia, and government sectors to learn more about the free software.

CharityTracker is a web-based application for shared case management that can be used to gather and report statistical data for resource development, strategic planning, measuring outcomes, reducing duplication and disaster relief. CharityTracker streamlines client intake and provides accurate records to assist agencies in serving clients.

Shane McFarland, Mayor of the City of Murfreesboro, said, "Charity Tracker is something the City researched sometime ago and we saw how much of an asset it can be for our community service providers and those being served. We are excited about this opportunity and encourage participation."

The United Way is recruiting organizations and individuals to attend one of the upcoming information sessions taking place in the following months.
