Jon and Sharon Moffitt have decided to sell the flower shop that was started by his family 79-years ago. They wanted someone who would love the community as much as theirs and knew Jenny and Chuck Harrison were the ones.

Although not originally from Tennessee, Jenny has lived here for 19-years and calls Tennessee home.

A relaxed family atmosphere will continue at Rion Flowers and Gifts, but the new name now includes coffee and in reality tea as well. Jenny Harrison said the family business will include a coffee shop where neighbors can relax with friends,

When asked about the progress on the new addition, she said . . .

Jenny plans to offer classes in how to create beautiful floral arrangments as well as art classes for customers when the expansion is finished.

Other new features at Rion include a 15 per cent discount to all fire fighters, police officers and other emergency responders, as well as military.

In addition, Rion Flowers, Coffee and Gifts celebrates SENIOR DAY every Wednesday with a 15 per cent discount to customers who are age 65 and over.

And yes, Jenny plans to keep the 7-decade tradition of honoring a GOOD NEIGHBOR each day on WGNS.

Welcome Jenny and Chuck Harrison, along with their family--the new owners of Rion Flowers, Coffee and Gifts at 117 South Academy Street.
