The Rutherford County Democratic Party held its Kennedy Day Dinner and elected new officers. The festive event was held at Copper Ridge located at 3597 Betty Ford Road in Murfreesboro. More than $5,000 was raised.

New officers include Chair Matt Ferry, 1st Vice Chair Kari Neely, 2nd Vice Chair Shaun Bonacci, Treasurer Arleen Kohn, and Corresponding Secretary Susan Steen.

Inducted into the Rutherford County Democratic Party's 2018 HALL OF FAME were Ron Scudder, Rena Scudder, Chloe Cerutti, and Steve Cates. Also honored were Tommy Bragg, MaryAnn Eckles, and Judy Whitehill.
