Another local business is helping WGNS collect sleeping bags for the homeless.

The brand new "Get Outside" outdoors store in Murfreesboro is helping in a big way with sleeping bags for homeless in our area. They even had specially printed t-shirts made just to raise awareness and to bring in donations to buy the bags.

When you purchase a cool new shirt for $28 at the locally owned store, ALL proceeds will go directly towards the purchase of sleeping bags made by Kelty.

Kelty Sleeping Bags are known for quality and best of all, the bags are SUPER WARM. The Kelty Company is also teaming up with the new "Get Outside" store in Murfreesboro to sell the bags to them at their costs. In other words, this will help a lot of people!

The sleeping bags will be distributed to area homeless over the weeks to come as it continues to get colder and colder.
