There will be new voting procedures in Rutherford County for 2018. County Election Administrator Alan Farley tells how voters can cast their ballot at any of the 28 locations on election days in 2018. This is the only county in Tennessee authorized by the General Assembly. This county is leading the pilot project on this new way that is hoped to increase voting turnout.

It also eliminated 21 voting locations, many that were next door to each other or very close. Farley predicts that $50,000 to $75,000 will be save in Rutherford County during all of the elections held in 2018.
