The culprit who was purchasing the animal told the victim to take $650 out of the check to cover the cost of the dog and mail the rest back. She did. On January 11th  at approximately 2:50 PM an Asian or light skinned black male entered the GNC store located at 801 Industrial Blvd in Smyrna and allegedly made an eight dollar purchase that he paid for with a counterfeit $50.00 bill. He left the store and returned within a couple of minutes and got change for another $50.00 bill which was also counterfeit.
