A 33-year-old man has been accused of punching and pushing down a female while robbing her of a purse. The robbery occurred on Tuesday afternoon around 2:30. The 30-year-old victim was outside of Olympus Hillwood Apartments on Hillwood Boulevard in Murfreesboro when the attack occurred.

After police arrived on the scene, they tracked down the potential suspect who was located about a block away at a Mapco Gas Station on Old Fort Parkway. Police then found the victims purse near an apartment sign. Of course, the purse was empty.

The case is currently under investigation.
