A former Eagleville Elementary School teacher who reportedly admitted to charges of stealing Adderall from a student and placed on leave without pay for almost 2-month has been moved to Stewartsboro Elementary School in Smyrna.

Back in October, officials with the Rutherford County Sheriffs Office say that Jessica Holland was caught on surveillance video unlocking a security cabinet at the school in which medications used by students were stored.

The sheriff's office charged her with theft under $500 and Simple Possession of a Schedule II drug. Records indicate that she admitted to the crime and indicated that the medication was used personally.

Adderall is often used for persons with attention deficit disorder, and the teacher allegedly indicated she felt the medication helped her to focus and be a better educator.

However, in December the courts retired her case without a conviction.

A Rutherford County School's spokesperson confirmed that the Tennessee Department of Education was notified of the incident, but that group did not seek revocation or suspension of Holland's teaching license. That is because there was no conviction of the criminal charges.

Based on that decision, Rutherford County Schools placed her in a different school.
