Oakland High School senior and archery team member, Clay Sizemore, is racking up state and national archery rankings this season.

On March 17 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Sizemore competed in the Indoor National S3DA (Scholastic 3D Archery). In this competition, he placed 3rd in the nation in the high school Olympic Recurve event.

Clay earned an invitation to compete in the national event after winning three 1st place titles in three different state level competitions over an eight day competition period in February. These events were officially sanctioned archery events through the S3DA, the NFAA (National Field Archery Association), and JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development).

Clay is also an outstanding ambassador for Oakland High School and is very dedicated to supporting his Patriots, having attended every OHS Pats football game for four straight years.

Several college archery teams are also interested in snagging Clay for their programs.
