A dominating first half leads the Oakland Middle Chargers to their second consecutive county championship, defeating Whitworth Buchanan 30-14. The Chargers were up 30-to-nothing at the end of the first half. Oakland eighth grade running back Cameren Snelling had 302 yards on 22 carries in the game. The Yellow Jackets Michael Scruggs had 114 yards on 13 carries. Oakland avenges their only loss of the season, which was just five days prior to their county championship.
