One new Rutherford County school to open in 2017

One new school will open in 2017 and three changes or renovations are on the drawing board for the upcoming school year in Rutherford County.

The future School Board building plan includes five new schools in Rutherford County between now and year 2021.

Rocky Fork Middle School will be the first new school in 2017 followed by Rocky Fork Elementary School in 2018. Rockvale High School is slated to open in 2020 followed by Almaville Road Middle School and Almaville Road Elementary School in 2021.
