Further Detailed:

A group that started in the area of the high crime city of Memphis, TN called Cop Stop is aiming to get started in Murfreesboro, TN.

The group was started by Mary York's sister and brother in law Joanna and Bob Young in 2014. Mary wants to start a Cop Stop in Murfreesboro, the city that she calls home.
Joanna Young started the organization after a brief conversation with a Germantown Police Office while waiting to pick up her children at school. A few conversations later and Joanna invited one officer and his partners to join them for dinner at their residence.
Now on a regular basis, Joanna and Bob have police officers over to their home for dinner. They call it a Cop Stop, which is where the name came from as police stopped by to eat a home cooked meal.

Right now about 10 families in Murfreesboro have agreed to help with this endeavor. So the next question would be... Do you want to help? If so, contact Mary York by email at Myork713@gmail.com.
