Over $700 of heartburn medication stolen in Murfreesboro

A bad case of heartburn could be behind a recent shoplifting case in Murfreesboro.

A security camera caught the theft of over $700 in medication on tape. The shoplifting incident occurred at Publix Grocery Store on Memorial Boulevard.

Evidently, a white female entered the store and allegedly stole 15-packages of Nexium and 30-boxes of Prilosec. The pills totaled $792.45.

The thief fled the scene in a small blue or black vehicle, possibly a Nissan Sentra. So far, she has not been nabbed.
