You never know what tomorrow will bring. This past June, Paramedic Lennie Fabian was enjoying a vacation with his family in Florida, when the 30-year Rutherford County EMS worker contracted an infection that infected his spinal cord. Now, this once active and very fit individual was unable to walk and is paralyzed from his chest down.

Lennie's work showed him daily to never take life for granted, but now--he is learning, day to day, how to function in a wheel chair.

A group of friends are putting together a fund raiser for Lennie at the Murfreesboro National Guard Armory, just off Thompson Lane near the Old Fort Parkway.

Clarence Santini said, "Lennie has been giving of himself to this county asa paremedic for three-decades, and now he is he one in need."

Santini explained that the Middle Tennessee Wrestling Alliance will be holding a fund-raising wrestling event at the local Armory this Saturday evening, October 13, 2018. HE said the doors will open at 5:00 that evening and the competition begins at 7:00 o'clock.

He noted that sponsors are needed to cover the rent, insurance and other expenses.
