A cool breeze and 20-degree drop in temps brought a huge crowd to the historic square Friday night (7/6/2012).

Despite threatening storms, the year's second First Friday Concert on the historic square was a huge success with the Stones River Pilots. Main Street Executive Director Kathleen Herzog told WGNS News that a 20-degree drop in temperature, a pleasant breeze and great music drew a record crowd.

When the Stones River Pilots played "The Twist", the crowds flowed to the area in front of the stage. Hundreds of enthusiasts (photo above) were move'n to the twist.
